Dec 15, 2023
Beauty brand Estée Lauder announced on Thursday the launch of its Skin Longevity platform, backed by a new product innovation.
Grounded in 15 years of pioneering skin longevity research, the platform introduces the revolutionary age-reversal SIRTIVITY-LP technology. Garnering 29 worldwide patents and presenting at over 20 scientific conferences, the brand's two-decade-long study of sirtuins in skin has culminated in a product that not only slows but visibly reverses skin aging, according to the brand.
The highly anticipated product, Re-Nutriv Ultimate Diamond Transformative Brilliance Soft Crème, powered by SIRTIVITY-LP, is set to be unveiled in January 2024. Estée Lauder promises visible age reversal in just 14 days.
“The Estée Lauder brand has always been at the forefront of breakthrough skin science,” said Justin Boxford, global brand president, Estée Lauder.
“Longevity is one of the fastest growing movements in the beauty and wellness industries, with multi-generational consumer interest in biohacking and age-reversal practices at an all-time high. Estée Lauder has been pioneering skin longevity research for more than 15 years, and we already have the proven technology to reveal visible age reversal. We see this as a truly pivotal moment for the brand to disrupt the industry, changing what we know about skin aging and reimagining skincare for the future.”
As part of the Skin Longevity initiative, Estée Lauder is forming a longevity expert collective across multiple disciplines. This collective will serve to educate and empower consumers, encouraging a shift in the conversation from anti-aging to visible age reversal. Members, including Estée Lauder scientists and external experts, will participate in events, media partnerships, and editorial content.
In a move to further longevity research, Estée Lauder also announced its support of the Stanford Center on Longevity, a renowned cross-disciplinary research center at Stanford University. The brand will be the inaugural supporter of the Center's new Program on Aesthetics & Culture, committing to a three-year initiative to fund various research activities.
