Nov 17, 2023
Luxury vintage curator What Goes Around Comes Around (WGACA) announced on Thursday the launch of a new original shoppable content initiative.
Dubbed 'WGACA Live', the platform will be hosted on Amazon Live, TikTok Shop, and whatgoesaroundnyc.com, and will offer a curated selection of pre-owned luxury goods and vintage apparel to a global audience.
WGACA has been recognized as the premier curator of iconic vintage and pre-loved luxury goods from around the world, since its founding in 1993. Earlier this year, the brand expanded its physical presence with the opening of the 'Atelier'. The 5,000 square-foot space houses an array of curated pre-owned luxury goods, vintage ready-to-wear, and accessories as well as a livestream studio for the production of daily original programs.
With the launch of WGACA Live on Amazon and TikTok, the brand aims to tap into the burgeoning livestream shopping market, projected to reach $32 billion by the end of 2023 and double to $68 billion by 2026, according to trend reports from Coresight Research and Bambuser.
The platform will offer a full spectrum of WGACA's designer database, featuring coveted brands such as Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, and more. Themed shoppable shows, including "Bag Lunch" and "Live From The Atelier," will be hosted daily by industry experts, lifestyle influencers, and content creators.
“Since opening our first store in SoHo in 1993, we have been committed to elevating the advantages of owning vintage and pre-owned luxury goods while defining the market.” said Seth Weisser, WGACA co-founder & CEO.
“With WGACA Live, we are embarking on a new journey with digital media and social platforms - one that educates new audiences about the ideals of sustainability, quality, authenticity, and style through storytelling and original shoppable programming.”
