Valentino names di Pasquale to top HR role
Jan 5, 2024
Valentino has named Matteo Di Pasquale its Chief Human Resources Officer, reporting directly to company CEO Jacopo Venturini effective from this month.
The company said that he had significant experience at a variety of big names, including Accenture, Hay Group, Mercedes-Benz, and AbbVie, where he held progressively responsible roles in the HR field.
He’s not a newcomer to Valentino either, having joined the Maison in June 2021 as the Compensation and Benefits Director. Subsequently, he took on the role of Acting Chief HR Officer on an interim basis from last July.
Valentino said that its “choice to appoint Matteo to this central role is linked to the great opportunity to provide continuity to the evolution process of Valentino’s HR strategy, which began a few years ago. His versatile experience, both in terms of the sectors he has worked in and the HR skills acquired in various roles, will be crucial to further sustain and implement the company culture of the Maison.”
And it added that in the new role, he’ll “serve as an ambassador of Valentino’s Colleague-Centric vision, continuing to define and evolve the HR management path aimed at supporting sustainable business growth for the company.”
