Playtime Paris, a summer edition featuring 320 brands
Playtime Paris, the show dedicated to the world of children, will be holding its summer edition at the Parc Floral de Paris from July 1 to 3. The event, organised by Picaflor, will bring together 320 brands from 34 countries, including the Netherlands and Denmark, the second largest number of exhibitors behind France, Spain, the UK and the USA.
Playtime Paris will once again be focusing on fashion and accessories, represented by 70% of the brands, with labels such as Veja and Pom d'Api, and ready-to-wear brands like Bobos Choses and 1+ in the family. To meet the needs of buyers looking for a broader range of products, the show is also focusing on lifestyle, which makes up 30% of the offering. Skincare, toys, home furnishings and accessories brands will be grouped together in a single space around themes related to parenthood.
Emerging brands will also have dedicated spaces. New Now will host twelve brands taking part in Playtime Paris for the first time. These will be selected by Anna Kari, founder of the UK boutique MamaOwl, and include Little Talents, Cake Kids and Kidsagogo. The Singular space, designed as a pop-up, will showcase ten brands offering capsule collections or single products such as Ara Creative inflatable colouring pages. Lastly, First Timers is the show's prescriber, highlighting brands taking part in the show for the first time through dedicated sales areas.
Fashion Snoops will be running two areas highlighting two trends, as well as a conference on Monday July 3 at 11am.
Following disruptions caused by health restrictions in China, Playtime Shanghai will return on July 21 and 22, while Playtime Kid's Hub New York will take place from July 30 to August 1.
