Contest: Win $5,000 in Design Challenge to Address Poverty

Paul Polak and Mal Warwick have created a design challenge that awards $5000 to the winner of the contest. For the entry, you must explain in 700 words or less a business that would serve and help 100 million people that live below $2 a day.

The business must apply the zero based design outlined in the book, The Business Solution to Poverty: Designing Products and Services for Three Billion New Customers.

The contest is open to all regardless of age, nationality, education status or demographic. The submission must be made online before February 7, 2014.
